Dosing valve cluster

For large production runs from over 1,000 kg up to 2,000–3,000 kg,

a dosing valve cluster can be installed at the end of the dosing line.

This requires a free corridor of approximately 3 metres

and only a short extension of the existing piping.

A 50 cm diameter cluster can accommodate approximately

40 valves, using a combination of 1″ and 1½″ valves.

Using the same robotic system, with sliding gearboxes

moving along a circular path, all valves can be actuated

while maintaining both full-pipe and drop-by-drop dosing.

At these batch sizes, drop-by-drop control is less critical

because of the high precision of large-capacity scales.

A 2,000–3,000 kg scale can be installed flush with the floor,

while a mobile AMR equipped with a 500–1,000 kg scale

can position itself directly above it when required.

With suitable piping and operating conditions,

a 1½″ line can achieve flow rates of up to approximately 500 L/min,

providing very high throughput.
